We intentionally limit how much we take on at once, so every engagement gets senior focus start to finish — timing depends on current commitments, and we'll be upfront on the first call if we can't start soon enough for what you need. Most engagements run from a few weeks to a few months, scoped up front rather than left open-ended.

Yes — Violet Summit Forge is fully remote, and most engagements run entirely over call and async messages. We're glad to travel for an in-person kickoff or working session when it genuinely helps, but it's never required.

We work mainly in TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, C#/.NET, and PostgreSQL, with cloud architecture on AWS and Terraform — see the About page for the fuller list. For enterprise-systems engagements the stack is whatever the client already runs; the job is fitting the existing system, not replacing it with a preferred one.

Every engagement gets a fixed, written scope and cost in the proposal stage, so there's no surprise invoice later. Ongoing work such as design reviews is billed differently — ask on the first call and we'll walk through what fits your situation.
